Finisar Corp. (FNSR) Jumped On News Of Apple Investment

Apple (AAPL) announced Wednesday morning that it will invest $390 million in Finisar Corp. (FNSR) to increase the production of chips used in Apple products.

Finisar gapped open sharply higher Wednesday morning, but traded in a range throughout the session. The stock closed up by 4.40 at $23.70 on the highest volume of the year. Finisar jumped to a month and a half high.
