Incredible footage shows as a huge snake drinks from his owner’s glass after being taught to lap up cups of tea and juice.
Thabet Al-Fadhi posted a video of his pet snake online, which shows the reptile as it lowers its heard into the glass.
After slithering along a table, the creature decided to grab a quick cup of tea just like its owner had taught it.
With its long body sprawled across the tablecloth, the snake lifts its head over the rime of the half-full glass.
And the snake is then captured as it laps up the liquid inside.
The snake clearly decided slithering is thirsty work, as its seen taking a good drink from the cup, which is believed to contain tea.
Thabet claims he has been training the snake, which is from a non-poisonous species, to savour tea, soft drinks, water, juice and other liquids.
The animal lover added he keeps seven snakes at his house in the in the village of Al-Qasab, in central Saudia Arabia.
It is not clear if all his seven pets are quite clever enough to slurp from Thabet's own cup, or what other fascinating tricks his snakes can perform.
After capturing the bizarre footage at his home, Thabet posted the hilarious video online - much to the delight of viewers who said the snake was "so funny."
