The story of Trivikram Srinivas' Agnyaathavaasi (Agnyathavasi) starring Pawan Kalyan, Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel is reportedly inspired by Hollywood films — The Heir Apparent and Undercover Boss.

Trivikram Srinivas is known for his etching family dramas with good emotional quotient and Agnyaathavaasi, is believed to be another interesting family entertainer from him. The movie is made with the tagline 'Prince in Exile'. Ever since its first look hit the internet, rumour mills have been busy making speculations about its storyline.

According to a report, Agnyaathavaasi is a rip-off of The Heir Apparent, which is a 2008 French film based on the Belgian comic book Largo Winch. The movie is said to revolve around the story of a rich businessman, whose family is killed by a villain, who wants to take over his business and assets. But the businessman's son escapes the clutches of the villain. How he takes revenge forms the crux of the story.

Another conspiracy theory is that the story of Agnyaathavaasi inspired from the American TV reality show Undercover Boss. According to this report, Pawan Kalyan plays a rich guy, who heads a software company. But he joins his company as an employee to know how his staff is functioning.

It is also speculated that director Trivikram Srinivas has rehashed the story of his own film Attharintiki Daaredi in which a millionaire hides his identity as a driver. It is rumoured that the power star will be seen as a millionaire but he disguises himself as a software professional this time.

The teaser of Agnyaathavaasi, which was released on Saturday, offers a glimpse at its storyline, which match almost all three conspiracy theories mentioned above. But to find out if the film is really the inspired by any of these movies and TV shows, we need to wait for the release i.e. January 10, 2018.
