RSS central region meet begins today, Vidisha meeting in Feb 2018
BHOPAL: After "Diwali Baithak," the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is organising two important meetings to review and discuss core issues, apart from electing its new body for Madhya Bharat region. Both the meetings will also take up matters related to the existing political crisis involving farmers and tribals, said sources in Sangh Parivar.
The first meeting will begin on Saturday in Sherpur village of Sehore district, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched countrywide crop insurance scheme in February 2016.
The three-day meeting will also elect its head for Madhya Bharat region on Sunday.
"This is a regional camp of Sangh Parivar involving more than 1500 Swayamsevak (volunteers) from 31 organisational districts of its eight departments. The three-day gathering will also involve top brass of Sangh Parivar led by Sah Sarkaryavah Dattatray Hosbale", stated RSS regional in-charge Ashok Agrawal.
He said the meeting will elect its regional head and discuss the work plan for the coming six months. The implementation of work plan would be made effective in every block of the district.
The RSS has also erected an attractive entry gate which is inspired by Chamkaur Durg, related to Guru Govind Singh, to mark his 350th Prakash Parv, said Agrawal.
Sources in RSS said that another crucial meeting is likely to be held in February at Vidisha where top brass of the Sangh Parivar will discuss and plan core issues related to conversions in tribal areas besides, issues related to farmers and impact of economic reforms in view of Gujarat poll results.

"In Diwali Baithak, Sangh discussed economic reforms, policy on Rohingyas, the situation in Kashmir and activities related to cow protection. In view of the forthcoming elections in Madhya Pradesh, the Sangh Parivar is anticipating a strong aggression among the public which also involved farmers, traders and women", said a senior RSS functionary.
He said during Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini Mandal Baitak (ABKM) at Bhopal, Sangh Parivar had taken feedback on economic reforms and suggested the state government measures to tackle farm unrest besides, other issues.
The RSS and its frontal organisations have now taken feedback on farmers' unrest and anti-incumbency of its 14-year regime to decide next plan of action ahead of 2018 elections.
