Karthi breaks down in tears at his fan Jeevan Kumar's funeral
Karthi broke down at the funeral of his ardent fan Jeevan Kumar, who met with an accident and died a few days ago.
Tamil actor Karthi recently attended the funeral of his fan Jeevan Kumar, the secretary of Karthi welfare and fan association in Thiruvannamalai. The actor broke down in tears when he saw the body of his ardent fan.
Jeevan was travelling from Chennai to his hometown for a wedding while the tragic accident took place. Reportedly, the driver of the car lost control on the Tambaram bridge and it plunged into the river.
Karthi attended the wedding of Jeevan just three months ago.
After paying his respects, Karthi addressed the media and asked everyone to drive safe, "Please do not travel at night. At any cost, avoid traveling during the night. Postpone your work and start only during the day. Life is more important than traveling to a place."
He added, "Jeevan didn't have a father; he had only his mother. Now, I will take care of the family. But who will compensate for the loss?"
Karthi saw a huge success with his latest release Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, which opened to great reviews. The news of his fan's death has come as a huge shock to the actor.
