Patna: The engine of Magadh Express (12402) on Monday caught fire between Tundiganj and Raghunathpur stations falling under the Mughalsarai-Patna rail section in Patna.



Patna: The engine of Magadh Express (12402) on Monday caught fire between Tundiganj and Raghunathpur stations falling under the Mughalsarai-Patna rail section in Patna. On seeing the flame, some passengers reportedly jumped off the train and got injured. East Central Railway Chief Public Relation Officer Rajesh Kumar said: “The fire engulfed the locomotive but it was controlled in time. All passengers are safe. The reason of the fire is yet to be ascertained.” The traffic movement on the rail section was hampered temporarily, said the officer. OC
