Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping a close eye on Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon.
Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Ryan Sessegnon would be an asset to most teams in Europe, according to Sky Sports pundit Andy Hinchcliffe.
Jose Mourinho’s interest in Rose may have cooled lately with the return to form and fitness of Luke Shaw, but Spurs will be keeping a close eye on Sessegnon.
The 17-year-old, capable of playing in either defence or midfield, has already made 52 Championship appearances for Fulham, scoring a remarkable 12 goals.
And Hinchcliffe, a left-back with 233 top-flight matches to his name, feels that Sessegnon’s ability to give balance on the left side makes him a vaulable commodity.
“He plays with such maturity and we’ve seen it for a season or more,” he told Sky Sports. “He’s a quality young player but he’s also playing on the left, and there aren’t many players across Europe that can give a team balance.”
“Is he going to be more valuable because he plays down that side?”
As The Sun reports, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Manchester United have all been linked with Sessegnon, so Spurs need to act fast before they are drawn into a bidding war they cannot win.
