NOIDA: The Gautam Budh Nagar district administration has enforced Section 144 of the CrPc to check any untoward incidents ahead of Padmaavat movie release in Noida.
ADM (executive) Gautam Budh Nagar Vineet said the that administration received information about protest at different places. “This threatens the law and order situation in the area. The district administration is also preparing for Republic Day celebration.
The board examinations of class X and XII are also scheduled in February and March. Taking into consideration all these issues, the district administration has enforced prohibitory orders for two months starting from January 17,” he said.
Vineet said that public gathering is prohibited without permission from the district administration. “Use of loudspeakers and mikes and protests during this period is prohibited. The police officials have been asked to ensure complete enforcement of the order,” he said.
The cyber café owners have also been warned against letting their computers and internet to people without proper verification of users. “They have been told to keep a record of the user for at least six months,” said official.
The police teams are also keeping a watch on social media plate forms like Facebook, Twitter and Whats App. Police said that Centre for Cyber Crime Investigation (CCCI) is monitoring the contents on digital space to ensure the messages that could incite violence and hatred are checked and action taken.
