VARANASI: Going for a reality check on the first day of UP Board examinations for classes 10 and 12, the deputy
chief minister Dinesh Sharma inspected several
examination centres in Jaunpur district on Tuesday. Recently, police had arrested a bookstore owner for printing fake answer sheets of UP Board examination in Jaunpur.
Sharma’s chopper landed at police lines in the morning, from where he moved to Sikrara block. He inspected Dr.
Bhim Rao Ambedkar Inter College, Sikrara, Kisan Adarsh Rastriya Inter College, Pratapganj, Fauzdar Inter College, Machhlishahar, Bholanath Shastri Niketan Inter College, Belwa Bazar, Swami Vivekanand Inter College Madiyahu, Balbhadra Inter College, Madiyahu, Maharana Pratap Inter College and Government Girls Inter College, Jaunpur.
He, however, found nothing objectionable at any centre during inspection. He said that the government is committed to conduct ‘copying free examinations’ and prevent the ‘nakal mafia’ from doing mischief. Stern action would be taken against those found in copying at examination centres.
