Bhagalpur, Buxar set to get cancer detection units

PATNA: Union minister of state for health and family Ashwini Kumar Choubey said on Saturday cancer detection centres would come up at Bhagalpur and Buxar soon. He said decision in this regard was taken by the central government recently. Tata Trust had earlier conducted a survey in Bihar to develop a model for cancer monitoring system. A meeting in this regard was held between Choubey, state health minister Mangal Pandey and Tata Trust officials at the state guesthouse here on February 14.TNN
