HYDERABAD: Wondering what authorities were doing when government land is being mortgaged to raise loans, the Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday directed the district collector of Mancherial to conduct a probe into the alleged action of land mafia that encroached 5,000 crore worth 2,000 acres of government land in
Nennel mandal and raised loans by mortgaging these plots.
