20-year-old rapes 3 girls in Shahdara

NEW DELHI: A 20-year-old man was arrested for sexually assaulting three neighbours in east Delhi’s Shahdara. The incident was reported by one of the survivors after her classmates were also assaulted by him.
The accused, a driver, is also completing his schooling through open school. He has been charged under sections of rape and POCSO Act.
The accused, a driver, was arrested after he sexually assaulted his neighbour, who studies in Class VI.The girl said he called her to the terrace for some work where he assaulted her. He even threatened to kill her if she informed anyone. Her parents later noticed that the girl started to stay aloof and depressed. After some pondering, she broke down and narrated the incident to her parents, following which a complaint was filed.
A medical examination confirmed sexual assault. The girl told cops that two of her classmates were also assaulted by the man. They also confirmed the happenings to the cops.
