Malpractice: 21 SSLC students debarred in Kalaburagi and Yadgir

As many as 15 students were debarred in Kalaburagi district and six in Yadgir district for malpractices during the SSLC mathematics examination on Monday.

Kalaburagi Deputy Director of Public Instruction Shanthgouda said that 13 students were debarred at Vanivilas High School in Kalaburagi North Block while two were debarred at government high school in Jewargi colony in the city. All of them were private candidates.

The DDPI said that students were found to be carrying chits in their shoes at Vanivilas High School while some people people were throwing chits into the classrooms from outside.

Regional Commissioner Harsh Gupta, during his visit to the government high school in Jewargi colony found found two students involved in malpractice. As per the rules, the students will be barred from writing the examination for the next three years, the DDPI added.

A vigilance squad debarred six students at various schools in Yadgir district, according to Yadgir DDPI Basavaraja Gavanahalli.
