Speaking after inaugurating the World Health Day, he said that health is a treasure which should be preserved with utmost care.
He added that the changing scenario which involves massive pollution had led to the birth of several diseases.
Physiological health also plays an important role and has the concern similar to that of physical illness. Earlier it was only physical diseases that bothered humans.
He added that health is directly connected to education and poverty. The lack of education and poverty has led to the massive increase in the health-related problems in society.
He also added that welfare society is nothing but offering healthcare amenities at the minimum price to people who are not able to afford it.
