The Crossing Arts Alliance will host two sessions of kids' programming on painting mandala stones: 10-11:30 a.m. and noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at the Crossing Arts Alliance in downtown Brainerd.

Using dotting tools and fine brushes, students will learn how to make a mandala pattern on smooth stones. The class is geared toward ages 5-13, but any age - even adult "kids at heart" - are welcome to attend. Younger artists will require an adult helper.

A donation of $3 per child or $5 per family for materials is requested, but no child will be turned away due to need. This class is sponsored by the Altrichter family.

Class size is limited, and pre-registration is required. Call 218-833-0416 to enroll.
