An employee at an Oregon marijuana processing facility was injured in an explosion Thursday.

The Baker County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called out to Burnt River Farms after a report of an explosion in a concrete building on the edge of the property.

A 28-year-old Huntington man was injured and taken to a local hospital.

The Baker City Herald reported Friday that the worker was in critical condition at St. Alphonsus in Boise. Deputies say the explosion occurred where the extraction process is conducted to create marijuana oil.
