Pupils from Thomas Whitham Sixth Form have been working to support Positive Action in the Community (PAC) that helps young people from across Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale.

The charity works on a number of projects which support people to build emotional resilience, improve their emotional health and wellbeing, make positive choices, and improve their education and employment chances and move on to live independent lives.

It also provides supported accommodation to homeless young people, support to adults and children affected by domestic violence and early support to families who are struggling to cope.

PAC manages the SafeSpace project which provides accommodation for young people and Thomas Whitham students collected donations of toiletries which they made up into care packages for the young people.

These will be distributed to young people who attend the SafeSpace project which is based in Nelson.
