Ambedkar statue vandalised in Ballia village in UP

BALLIA: A statue of BR Ambedkar was found vandalised in a village here, police said on Wednesday. The incident took place at around 2 am, Inspector of Rasra Police Station, Jagdish Chandra Yadav, said.



Ballia, April 18

A statue of BR Ambedkar was found vandalised in a village here, police said on Wednesday.

The incident took place at around 2 am, Inspector of Rasra Police Station, Jagdish Chandra Yadav, said.

One of the hands of the statue was found damaged at Sardaspur village following which a case has been registered against unidentified people.

Policemen have been deployed at the spot. PTI
