Word around the campfire has been that David Fincher’s upcoming sequel to WORLD WAR Z was going to be shooting this Fall, but now it seems that is not the case. The Playlist reports Fincher will be shooting the second season of his Netflix series MINDHUNTER first with production set to begin at the end of this month.
Evidently, Fincher and crew have been in pre-production for months on MINDHUNTER S2, while WORLD WAR Z 2 is still in development and not ready quite yet. I don’t know about you but I’m MUCH more excited about the second season of MINDHUNTER than I am about a sequel to WORLD WAR Z. How about you? MINDHUNTER synopsis:
In the late 1970s, two FBI agents expand criminal science by delving into the psychology of murder and getting uneasily close to all-too-real monsters.
MINDHUNTER comes from executive producers David Fincher and Charlize Theron and stars Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, Anna Torv, Hannah Gross, Cotter Smith. The first season is currently streaming on Netflix.
