Poland - Factors to Watch April 24

April 24 (Reuters) - Following are news stories, press reports and events to watch that may affect Poland's financial markets on Tuesday. ALL TIMES GMT (Poland: GMT + 2 hours):

BZ WBK

Poland's third-largest lender Bank Zachodni WBK reported on Tuesday a 3-percent annual fall in its first quarter net profit to 439 million zloty ($127.63 million), broadly in line with analysts' expectations of 432 million.

INVENERGY

Invenergy, the biggest U.S. investor in renewable energy sector, filed a motion for an arbitrage in Switzerland demanding $700 million in compensation from Poland, Puls Biznesu daily said. Invenergy claims that it has lost money as Polish state-run companies had dissolved its energy supply contracts.

EU BUDGET

European Union 2021-2027 budget will assume lower spending on East European countries, Gazeta Wyborcza daily said. On top of that European Commission plans to introduce a measure, which will allow to cut funds for countries infringing the rule of law. It would be not possible to veto these decisions.

GETBACK

Ailing debt collector Getback has not paid on time interest on its bonds, Parkiet daily reported.

WARSAW BOURSE

State-run Warsaw Stock Exchange supervisory board named presidential advisor Marek Dietl company's Chief Executive Officer for the four-year term, Parkiet said.
