The Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament
This year, the Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament (HIBT) returns to Kona's summer fishing season from Monday, August 6 through Saturday, August 11.
For five days, starting Monday, August 6, anglers compete for their chance of capturing the HIBT's Governor's trophy. For spectators, Kailua Pier is a great place to watch the tournament, which starts each morning at 7:30 a.m. as boats line up across historic Kailua Bay, making for an Instagram-worthy picture.

Golf Camp for Kids
Kapalua Golf Academy on Maui is offering a golf camp for kids designed to improve their game and athletic ability through development of their fundamental movement and golf-specific skills.
The camp is taught by Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) professional and academy Junior Development Instructor Chris Armanini, who modeled it on Titleist Junior Development courses.
Programs are held on Mondays, Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, and Fridays, with camp for juniors ages 5-10 from noon to 1:30 p.m., and camp for juniors ages 11-17 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Kapalua Golf Academy Junior Development Camp is priced at $250 for a two-day school, or $400 for a four-day school.

Bike Hawaii’s New Tour
Bike Hawaii is now offering a new tour called "Rainforest to Reef Adventure." The tour combines a waterfall hike at the base of the volcanic Koolau Mountain cliff line and a kayak adventure in Kaneohe Bay.

Kipu Ranch Adventures Offers Savings for Kids
Kipu Ranch Adventures is a solid offering for families looking to explore and discover Kauai on the adventure company’s Jungle Waterfall Tour.
The two-hour 4x4 adventure takes guests on Kipu Ranch’s trail system that includes views spanning the ranch’s more than 3,000 acres.

The PowerShares Series Tennis Tournament
Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and Bungalows is set to host the PowerShares Series tennis tournament on Hawaii Island. PowerShares' Champions Cup weekend begins May 5 with a charity kids' clinic, a "VIP Hit-with-the-Pros" session and a "VIP Player Party."
Play for the cup happens on May 6, with pros John McEnroe, Jim Courier, Mardy Fish and Tommy Haas competing. The Champions Cup tournament is part of the PowerShares Series, a North American tennis circuit for champion players over age 30.
