According to Lithuanian basketball reporter Donatas Urbonas, LaVar Ball is pulling his sons LaMelo and LiAngelo from the Vytautas Prienu basketball team in Lithuania and returning to Los Angeles. Vytautas would have two games remaining when the Ball family leaves the team Sunday or Monday.

LiAngelo reportedly had been shut down to prepare for the upcoming NBA combine and pre-draft camps. LaVar Ball also complained that LaMelo, who left Chino Hills High before the season, wasn’t getting enough playing time.

“We’re not going to waste our time no more,” LaVar Ball is reported to have said.

Vytautas coach Virginijus Šeškus was surprised by the news.

LiAngelo Ball averaged 12.6 points per game, second on the team, in 21 minutes per game. LaMelo Ball played in just eight games and averaged 6.5 points per game, and 12 minutes per game.
