UP Board Result 2018: Anjali Verma tops Class 10th with 96.33%, know Class 12th toppers, others here

The UP Board or UPMSP has declared the results for both Class 12 and Class 10 today with the girls outperforming boys in both results. Check your marks here or at upresults.nic.in

New Delhi: The UP Board or Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has declared the results for Class 12 board and Class 10 board exams on Sunday with girls faring better than boys in both results. Students can check their Class 12 and Class 10 results here on livehindustan.com

Girls have outshined boys in both Class 10th and Class 12th results declared by the Uttar Pradesh Board on Sunday. The pass percentage for Class 10th stands at 75.16, according to livehindustan.com, while it stands at 72.43 for Class 12th. The pass percentage for girls in Class 10th stands at 78.81, while for boys it stands at 72.27. The pass percentage for boys in Class 12th stands at 72.27, while for girls it stands at 78.81.

Here is a list of toppers from both Class 12th and Class 10th:

Class 12th toppers:

■ Rajneesh Shukla—93.20%, Sarvodaya Inter College, Fatehpur

■ Akash Maurya—93.20%, Barabanki

■ Ananya Rai—92.6%, Gazipur

■ Abhishek Kumar—92.2%, Moradabad

■ Ajit Patel—92.2%, Barabanki

Class 10th toppers:

■ Anjali Verma—96.33%, Shivkuti, Allahabad

■ Yashaswi—94.50%, MIC Chowk, Jehanabad, Fatehpur

■ Vinay Kumar Verma—94.17%, Sitapur

■ Shani Verma—94.1%, Gonda

Last year, the pass percentage stood at 82.62 for Class 12, while for Class 10, it was recorded at 81.18%.

Students can also check their results on the UP board’s official website: upmsp.edu.in or upresults.nic.in

The UP Board Intermediate or Class 12 examination 2018 results were held between 6 February and 14 March. The Class 10 exams were held between 6 February and 22 February.

A total of 66,37,018 students were registered to appear in this year’s state board exams, according to a report in livehindustan.com . Over 55 lakh students finally appeared in these exams.

According to Hindustan Times, Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma has directed the board to display answersheets of top 15 students on the official website to ensure transparency in the evaluation process.

Here is a step-by-step guide to help check your results on Sunday:

■ Open either the UP board result portal or click here.

■ Click on the result link relevant for you. i.e UP Board Intermediate or Class 12 examination 2018 results, UP Board High School or Class 10 Examination 2018

■ Enter your mobile number, email id and other relevant details and press submit

■ Take a printout/screenshot for future reference.

Official marksheet and pass certificate will be issued to students after result declaration.
