The Uttar Pradesh Board (UPMSP) has declared the results of Class 10 examinations on the official websites — upresults.nic.in, upmspresults.up.nic.in today. This year, around 75.16 per cent students have cleared the examination successfully. Congratulating the successful students, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said, “I am congratulating all the staffs involved with the UP Board examinations to declare the results in a record one month from the time of concluding the examination and to restrict cheating in the examination this year.” The Chief Minister will also felicitate the top ten performers of the board.
The girls have outperformed boys, 78.81 girls cleared the examination successfully, while the pass percentage of boys is 72.27. A total of 66,37,018 students registered to appear in the exams of which 36,55,691 were from Class 10 and 29,81,327 students from Class 12. However, on the first day of the examination, over 1,80,826 students remained absent. It included over 53,100 High School and over 1.27 lakh intermediate students. Overall, a record total of 11,28,250 students missed their board exams.
All the candidates who had appeared for the examination can check the results through the official websites, upresults.nic.in, upmspresults.up.nic.in. Apart from it, the results will be available at examresults.net, indiaresults.com. The candidates can also check the results through app or by SMS.

The UP Board officials said this happened due to a slew of strict measures to curb malpractice. The exams were held in February for both secondary and senior secondary classes. The evaluation started from March 17 and nearly 1.46 lakh examiners will be involved in the process.
In Gautam Buddha Nagar of Uttar Pradesh, 82.7 per cent Class 12 students and 81.5 per cent Class 10 students passed the UP Board examination, the results of which were declared on Sunday. Six inmates, including four serving life terms, at the district jail here have cleared their Class 10 and 12 examinations conducted by the Uttar Pradesh state education board, officials said on Sunday. These inmates secured first division in the examination.

The results of both class 10 and 12 board exams show that girls outperformed the boys in terms of pass percentage. In Class 10, 78.81 per cent girls cleared the exam as compared to 72.27 per cent boys. In Class 12, 78.44 per cent girls cleared the exam compared with 67.36 per cent boys.
It is for the first time that CCTV cameras were installed in all the 8,549 exam centres. Of these 2,087 centres were red-flagged as sensitive of which 566 centres had been identified as very sensitive while 1,521 are sensitive in terms of copying mafia being active there.
More than five lakh students left the UP Board exams for Class X and XII midway in the first two days due to a massive crackdown on cheating, an official said on Thursday. This is seen as an outcome of the tight screening and anti-copying measures implemented by the government which had vowed to ensure there was no copying this year.
Priyanshi Tiwari, with 96.20 per cent, has topped the Class 12 exams. The second position has been secured by Bhawna with 95.81 per cent and the third slot has been claimed by Sonam Singh with 95.80 per cent marks.
Tejaswi Devi of Fatehpur's Jai Maa SGMIC school topped the high school (Class 10) exams with 95.83 per cent marks, and was followed by Kshitij Singh and Navneet Kumar of Lucknow Public School who have secured the second position in Class 10 exams.
Last year, the UP Board results for Class 10 and 12 were released on June 9 which saw 81.18 per cent students pass in Class 10 and 82.62 pass percentage for Class 12. The percentage dropped by about five per cent from the previous year (2016). The results were announced by the board's chairman Amarnath Verma and secretary Shail Yadav.

The press conference for result declaration has just started and Neena Srivastava, UP Board Secretary is addressing. Firstly, the results for Class 12 intermediate examination will be released in a few minutes.
Just after an hour of UP Class 12 Board results declaration, class 10 results will also be declared at 1:30 pm.
Students are anxiously waiting for their results, which will be declared shortly.

The Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh, which conducts Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate) exams in the state is among the world’s largest in terms of the number of students. UP Board or Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) was set up in 1921. They conducted its first public examination in 1923.
