Amritsar, December 21
An unidentified woman died after she was hit by an unknown vehicle in the Sultanwind police station area. Though the accident occurred on December 6, she succumbed to her injuries late last evening.
Anil Kumar, a resident of Kot Mit Singh area located on the Tarn Taran road, told the police that on December 6 when he came out of the car, the victim was lying on the road with serious injuries. She was immediately rushed to the hospital where she died last night. The police have registered a case under Section 304 A and 279 of the IPC against unknown person.
