Guests can enjoy a treatment in the cottage before relaxing overnight in a luxurious Pavillion Suite, followed by a full Scottish breakfast in the Clubhouse the next morning.

Described as one of the best UK spa breaks by Vogue magazine, Fletcher’s Cottage Spa offers a peaceful haven and an ethical approach to health and well-being.

One Spa, Sheraton Edinburgh

Regarded as one of Europe’s finest city spas, the One Spa at the Sheraton offers a relaxing escape in the centre of Edinburgh.

The six storey building has four levels of spa, set in a lovely light-filled space. A highlight of the spa is the rooftop hydro pool. Inside there’s a swimming pool, gym and thermal suite, which gives guests a chance to chill out or work out before or after treatments.

The spa is currently running an Enliven Spa Day offer, ideal for the summer months. For £120 per person, guests can spend three hours relaxing with Escape at One, the spa’s signature experience offering a calming collection of heat and water treatments, including the rooftop Hydropool, light-filled indoor swimming pool and extensive thermal suite.

In addition to this, guests will receive two treatments lasting a total of 1 hour 20mins, experiencing the salt and oil body scrub and intensive facial.

Fairmont St Andrews

Another one of Scotland’s most well known spas, the spa at the Fairmont in historical St Andrews has recently undergone a refurbishment, meaning there’s even more reason to visit this Bank Holiday weekend.

The spa boasts ten luxury treatment rooms, a tranquil pool, fitness suite and a range of hydrotherapy experiences.

One of the current deals is the body and soul package, from £195 per person. Guests are invited to relax in the peaceful surroundings at the Fairmont before enjoying a 50 minute spa treatment, full use of the facilities and a Savoy afternoon tea in the Artium Lounge, followed by an overnight stay with breakfast.

New Lanark Mill Hotel, Lanark

This hidden gem will make for a great stay for those looking to treat themselves this bank holiday. Guests who stay in the New Lanark Hotel - originally an 18th century cotton mill, which has been completely restored - can enjoy the extensive facilities at the New Lanark Health and Fitness Club, which includes a swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and a health and fitness studio.

There’s also three brand new beauty rooms for guests to enjoy a range of customised treatments including candle massage, aromatherapy massage, waxing treatments, manicures and pedicures.

The spa also has a great spa day package from £32.50 per person, which includes full use of the facilities and a light lunch. As well as this there’s a residential spa package, from £69 per person, which includes use of the spa facilities and dinner, bed and breakfast.

The Old Course Hotel, St Andrews

Situated in the heart of the Scotland, overlooking the famous links courses, the West Sands Beach and the beautiful coastline, the Kohler Waters Spa – the only one of its type outside of the USA - is the ideal spot for a countryside getaway.

The coastal spa, which has recently been refurbished and extended, focuses on hydrotherapy or ‘Salus Per Aquum’ – ‘health through water’.

The extension and refurbishment has resulted in a 25,000 sq. ft space that features 13 treatment rooms including two couple’s rooms, as well as two wet treatment rooms offering Kohler bathing experiences.

There is also a tranquil rooftop garden with hot tub, which is the perfect place for guests to enjoy a tipple as they soak up the stunning surroundings.

Specialising in marine treatments, therapies include natural ingredients such as seaweed, used for its anti-inflammatory and soothing qualities, lavender, to balance and calm, and Himalayan salt to detoxify. All of the products used are provided by high-end beauty brands such Comfort Zone, Phytomer and Voya amongst many others.

The spa is currently offering a range of spa treatments exclusively for sportsmen and women. Perfect for fitness enthusiasts and golfers, the treatments include deep tissue massages, Vichy shower experiences and foot care treatments.

The Carrick spa, Loch Lomond

Although Cameron House Hotel is no longer open, the Carrick Spa is still welcoming guests for relaxing, luxurious spa days and treatments.

Perfect for just a swim or use of the thermal suite, guests can also enjoy one of the wonderful treatments and the Relax with Me spa day offers a mix of the two.

From £109 per person, this deal includes a 50 minute treatment with a full body scrub and aromatherapy back, neck and shoulder massage, plus a light lunch and two hours use of the facilities.

Macdonald Marine hotel and spa, North Berwick

Throughout May, the Macdonald Marine Hotel in North Berwick has 30% off its spring Age Defy spa day.

From £59 per person, guests can indulge in a 55 minute Elemis Pro Collagen Age Defy facial, lunch with a glass of prosecco and full use of the facilities.

If you’d also like to treat yourself to a massage or another treatment, the a further 10% can be taken off all pre-booked treatments. There’s also a £10 voucher to use against a spend of £50 in the spa store.

Portavadie, Loch Fyne

The spa and leisure facilities at Portavadie have been designed to make the most of the spectacular sea loch views.

Home to Scotland’s largest outdoor heated infinity pool, a 16 metre indoor pool, Scandinavian sauna, hydro pool and gym, Portavadie is perfect for a weekend escape.

The spa is currently running a luxurious Argyll Escape spa day. From £119 per person, guests can relax with a 55 minute treatment of choice, full use of the facilities, a Bento lunch box with tea or coffee, ¼ of a bottle of prosecco and a gift from the hotel.
