Wolfertz III. “We are honored to be the viewers’ trusted news source morning and evening.” “Viewers know they can expect the very best coverage of breaking news and severe weather as well as hard-hitting investigations from Pittsburgh’s Action News 4,” said WTAE News Director Jim Parsons. “Our entire team strives day in and day out to deliver on that promise.” Other notable May sweeps rating highlights include WTAE Channel 4’s national #1 ranking for the finales of “American Idol” and “Dancing with the Stars,” and the “Roseanne” premiere. Ratings information is based on Nielsen Station Index Live + SD May 2018 preliminary ratings, in the Pittsburgh DMA.
