Hyderabad: Film star turned politician Pawan Kalyan has warned that if the wrong developmental policies of the past are continued, Andhra Pradesh will again break up into three.

Pawan, founder of Jana Sena Party, told a public meeting in Parvathipuram during the course of his tour across North Andhra district that in the united Andhra Pradesh all the development was concentrated in and around Hyderabad and a large number of people from northern Andhra who had migrated to Hyderabad had once again become displaced after the division of the state.

Holding Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu responsible for the lopsided development, he said, “Even if the people want to comeback home there are no jobs and no industries here. Even if they want to practise agriculture there is no water. Even to complete Totapally and Jhanjhavati projects the government does not have money”, he said.

Pawan Kalyan alleged that Naidu instead of focusing on helping the people, was repeating the past mistakes and concentrating all the development around Amamrvati, Guntur and Vijayawada. “He has completely neglected the other regions. Again a situation is coming up in which the demands for separate Kalinga-Andhra state will arise like it happened in the case of Telagnana”, he said.

“If the Chief Minister and the ministers don’t realise there will be a threat of the state breaking up in three parts of Rayalaseema, coastal Andhra and North Andhra,” he warned.

Pawan Kalyan is presently on a tour through the three districts of the region — Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakahapatanam to understand the people’s problem.
