ONGOLE: A seven-year-old girl was found murdered in a well at Budidhapalem area of Kandukur town in Prakasam district on Tuesday.
According to police, the deceased, Sk Meher, lived with her mother Basheer Unnisa and her father Basheeruddin had died five years ago. As she was sick, her grandfather was supposed to take her to a hospital on Tuesday morning. However, when she did not turn up, he went to the girl’s mother to inquire about her. The girl’s body was discovered around 2 pm with her limbs tied up.
With the help of relatives, the girl was given burial service by 4 pm. Police registered a case and took the mother into custody.
