Body of woman found inside gunny bag in Delhi's Sarita Vihar

A dismemebered body of a woman in her thirties was found stuffed inside a gunny bag in south east Delhi's Sarita Vihar on Thursday morning. The woman haa not been identified yet and a team has been formed to crack the case.

NEW DELHI: A dismembered body of a woman in her thirties was found stuffed inside a gunny bag in south east Delhi's Sarita Vihar on Thursday morning. The woman has not been identified yet and a team has been formed to crack the case.
Police said that a PCR call was received at 8:12am at the Sarita Vihar Police station regarding two unknown bags lying at the roadside inside a vacant plot towards Haji colony, soon after which a police team was rushed to the spot.

On inspection of the bag it was found that there was a human body in it. The crime team was called on the spot for inspection and the body was found to be dismembered. It was that of an unknown female. Her hands and limbs were found dismembered, police said.
DCP (southeast) Chinmoy Biswal said that the body was sent to mortuary and a case was registered. The body, police said, is unidentified as of now.
