This fundraiser will benefit MTSU’s Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veterans and Military Family Center (Daniels Center). It will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Grove at Williamson Place off Medical Center Parkway. This benefit will honor corporate and community leaders that have supported the Daniels Center’s transitioning student-veterans and military family members.
Charlie Daniels, who is a member of the hallowed Grand Ole Opry and the covetetd Country Music Hall of Fame, noted that we owe our country’s veterans for their service, and we need to do everything possible to help them. The acclaimed musician went on to praise The Daniels Center for doing a great job of supporting the student-veterans and helping them to transition from military to civilian life.
Daniels subsequently thanked everybody for their support for this inaugural event. “Every donation makes a difference,” he said. This private event will feature dinner, a VIP meet and greet reception, and photo opportunity with Charlie Daniels, as well as additional guest speakers.
This Veteran Impact Celebration is sponsored by the nonprofit organization The Journey Home Project, as well as the Nashville Predators, Hiller, Dollar General, Mission BBQ, and The Grove at Williamson Place; moreover, other sponsors include the Steel Barrel Brewing Company and Stones River Total Beverages.
