WARANGAL: A patient went missing from MGM hospital after his mother was allegedly manhandled by a house surgeon in the district on Sunday night.  The patient Sagar, a resident of Labour colony in the city, went missing after his family members had arguments with house surgeons on  Sunday. His mother Rajitha had lodged a complaint against a house surgeon who misbehaved with her and alleged that the incident forced her son to run away from the hospital.

It all started after Sagar was admitted in the hospital after he consumed poison. As the news spread, his relatives and friends started pouring in creating a disturbance to other patients. Despite the warning, the family members did not stop their relatives from visiting the ward.   In the meantime, a house surgeon Preethi had an argument with the patient’s mother and reportedly manhandled her.

Enraged over this, her relatives also manhandled few house surgeons creating tension in the ward. A disturbed Sagar silently left the hospital over this. When the matter came to the notice of his mother, she went to Mattewada police station and lodged a complaint against house surgeons.
Mattewada  CI Ravikumar visited the hospital and inquired about the incident.
