Here’s the roster of hip-hop acts joining Valee and Black Moon at Chreece festival

Valee will perform Aug. 25 as part of the fourth annual Chreece festival.

Chreece organizers unveiled GOOD Music artist Valee and 1990s indie-rap group Black Moon Saturday as headliners for the fourth annual hip-hop festival in Fountain Square.

Nearly 70 acts will perform Aug. 25 at eight venues. High-profile Indiana artists include Drayco McCoy, Flaco, Ghost Gun Summer, Mudkids, Clint Breeze & the Groove and Mathaius Young.

Chreece founder and Ghost Gun Summer member Sean "Oreo" Jones recently added Ron "DJ Indiana Jones" Miner and producer Jay Brookinz to the leadership team of the festival and its new promotions company, Chreece Presents.

This year's festival will include a special appearance by long-running New York rapper Craig G, who worked with Marley Marl, Big Daddy Kane and Biz Markie in the mid-1980s Juice Crew collective.

Chicago native Valee (pronounced "Vuh-lay") issued his "GOOD Job, You Found Me" EP earlier this year on the GOOD label founded by Kanye West. Brooklyn-based Black Moon is known for its collaborations with production crew Da Beatminerz.
