Union Minister Nithin Gadkari to launch Rs 3,000 crore projects in Andhra Pradesh

By 4 pm, he will inaugurate two new cranes and allied equipment established  with an estimated cost is Rs 150 crore at the  Visakhapatnam Container Terminal Private Ltd.

VISAKHAPATNAM: “Union Minister for Shipping, Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will visit the port city on July 13 and inaugurate various important projects,” Visakhapatnam Port Trust chairman MT Krishna Babu has announced. He along with Anil Dikshit, the regional officer of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI),  Srinivas, the project director (NHAI) and PL Haranath, the VPT deputy chairman explained the tour particulars of Gadkari. He will inaugurate or lay  foundations to around `3,685.35-crore development/ infrastructure projects.

“After his Polavaram project site visit, Gadkari will reach Vizag by 8.30 am and participate in the review  meeting with various department officials between 9.30 am to 1.30 pm.  Later, he will interact with the media persons. By 4 pm, he will inaugurate two new cranes and allied equipment established  with an estimated cost is Rs 150 crore at the  Visakhapatnam Container Terminal Private Ltd.(VCTPL). He will inaugurate iron ore handling complex. Further he will inaugurate the fire station and participate in the planting of saplings. From the AU Convention Centre, Gadkari will inaugurate the construction works of the Sheelanagar Port Connectivity (via Sabbavaram) road and Anandapuram-Anakapalle six-lane national highway road.
