Firestone Fibers & Textiles Investing $19M In North Carolina

The technical textile fiber manufacturer is expanding its North American headquarters and advanced manufacturing plant in Kings Mountain, NC.

Firestone Fibers & Textiles Company is expanding its 483,916-square-foot North American headquarters and advanced manufacturing plant in Kings Mountain, NC by 110,000 square feet. The manufacturer of technical textile fibers plans to invest approximately $19.8 million in the plant expansion and new machinery and equipment, and create at least 25 new jobs in Gaston County.

Since 1992, Firestone’s Kings Mountain facility has manufactured tire cord and similar products. Firestone Fibers & Textiles has ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 registered plants located in Kings Mountain and Gastonia in North Carolina, as well as Woodstock, Ontario.
