Xerox to manage Basware global scan, capture services operation

By

Source-to-pay solutions, e-invoicing and financial services provider Basware has selected Xerox to operate its scan and capture operations across 28 countries.

As part of the agreement, Xerox will manage Basware’s scan and capture services operation, which Basware says total 24 million invoices per year and provide a “quick and cost-effective solution for over 400 global Basware customers needing to process paper and e-mail invoices as they move towards digitisation”.

Xerox and Basware say they will work together, enabling customers across both organisations to access the “world’s largest e-invoicing network and best in class scan and capture global capability from Xerox”.

“We want to help customers simplify their operations, spend smarter, and make all of our customers’ purchasing processes digital. This partnership is another strong example of how we increase operational focus and execute our strategy,” said Vesa Tykkyläinen, chief executive, Basware Corporation.

“Our focus is firmly on cloud growth and building a scalable global business. We selected Xerox because they deliver best-in-class technology and service in the document capture field, have multilingual capability and also share our values for building a strong partner ecosystem.”

Hervé Tessler, president, International Operations, Xerox, said: “The combined strengths of Basware and Xerox bring to life our commitment to enabling physical-to-digital transformation.

“Basware and Xerox pursue the same objectives in delivering the best service to their customers and to support client growth through innovation.”
