Aparna Enterprises Limited is diversifying into aluminium windows and structural frames by setting up a manufacturing unit near Hyderabad. The company expects to roll out these products soon.

Part of the diversified Aparna Group, which is into construction and real estate business, Aparna Enterprises Limited is engaged in the manufacture of tiles, uPVC windows and frames and 17 Ready Mix Concrete units in the country.

P Ashwin Reddy, Managing Director of Aparna Enterprises Limited, said, “This division of the Group has grown to be a ₹800 crore business and accounts for nearly half of the Aparna Group turnover of ₹1600 crore. We expect to see Aparna Enterprises business to almost double within three years and achieve a turnover of ₹1600 crore.”

“About ₹200 crore investment is likely in expansion which will include another extrusion facility for aluminium profiles, expansion of the ceramic tiles manufacturing facility at Peddapuram near Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh,” he said.

Aparna Reddy, Director, said, “The funding for expansion would be made through internal accruals and debt in the ration of 30:70. We are also looking at diversifying into couple of other construction product businesses once we secure various clearances.”

Interacting with media persons on the eve of completion of 10 years of Aparna Venster brand, which handles uPVC windows, Aparna said they have sold more than 1.2 million units and will continue to expand in other parts of the country.

The aluminium business will also be part of the Venster brand. However, the tiles business comes under the Vitero brand. Of the three lines possible in the newly commissioned tiles unit, only one line has been operational with a capacity of 15,000 sq metres per day. This has potential to be ramped up to 45,000 sq metres per day with an investment of ₹80 crore per line.
