Police investigate shooting in Northeast Portland, find home struck by gunfire

PORTLAND, Ore. – Police say a home in Northeast Portland was struck by gunfire late Wednesday night.

Officers responded to the 3400 block of Northeast 124th Avenue at 10:35 p.m. after residents in the area said they heard gunfire.

Police did not locate any suspects or injured people at the scene, but they did find a home that had been struck multiple times by gunfire.

Officers spoke with the residents and determined no one was injured.

Police also found evidence of gunfire on Northeast 124th Place.

Residents in the area said they heard a vehicle leaving shortly after they heard shots fired.
