Gwalior: Car swept away as drain overflows after heavy rainfall

A car parked near a drain in Gwalior's Taraganj area got swept away after the drain overflowed due to heavy rains in the area. The level of drain increased suddenly due to the rains. Rainwater, mud and garbage combined to form a slush that washed away the car. A truck also got toppled due to the overflowing drain but luckily it was pushed to a side away from the flowing drain. Heavy rainfall has been recorded in most parts of North and central India for the past few days.
