Youth shot in Nawada distrist

NAWADA: One 28-year-old Vivek Singh of Daulatpur village under Warisaliganj police station was shot dead in front of his house by unidentified armed assailants on Saturday night.
The agitated villagers initially blocked the Warisaliganj-Kharat road demanding the arrest of culprits. The Warisaliganj police attributed the killing to a simmering land dispute between the victim and another co villager Anil Singh.Warisaliganj BJP MLA Smt Aruna Devi pacified the aggrieved family as well as ruffled villagers and helped clear the road blockade.
According to village sources, a plot of land was the bone of contention between the deceased and Anil Singh.
The deceased had reportedly started construction of a building on the disputed site despite the land being registered in Anil’s name. Anil’s family is absconding following the Vivek’s murder.
