Gonda DM slaps notice on BJP MP's son

FAIZABAD: Gonda district magistrate has served a show-cause notice on the son of BJP's Kaiserganj MP Brij Bhusan Sharan Singh for alleged illegal excavation and dumping of sand. The notice dated July 18 was sent to Karan Bhushan Sharan Singh by DM Capt Prabhanshu Srivastava, taking cognizance of the report filed by mining inspector.
"The excavation department found 3,952 and 13000 qubic meter illegal dumps of sand in the premises of Narendra memorial private ITI college in Tarab Ganj Tehsil of Gonda district.The notice for illegal dump of sand has been issued to Karan Bhushan Sharan Singh, son of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh," Gonda DM told TOI.
"A time-limit of one week has been given to Singh to produce his documents otherwise action would be taken against him according to the law," he added.
