Railways to run special trains in Shrawan from July 27

PATNA: The railways on Thursday announced introduction of certain special trains from different stations from July 27 to August 28 for the pilgrims headed for Deoghar during the Shrawan month.
According to East Central Railway’s chief public relations officer Rajesh Kumar, a special Jansadharan train (03651/03652) will run between Gaya Junction and Jasidih via Patna Junction on five days a week.

The train will leave Gaya every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 8.55pm and reach Jasidih at 5.40am the next day. On its return journey, it will leave Jasidih every Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7.30am and reach Gaya Junction at 5.50am the next day.
The load combination of this Gaya-Jasidih train will be of ten coaches, including eight general coaches and two brake vans. It will have stoppages at Chakand, Bela, Makhdumpur, Tehta, Jehanabad, Nadaul, Taregana, Nadwan, Pothi, Punpun, Parsa Bazar, Patna Junction, Rajendra Nagar Terminal, Patna Sahib, Fatuha, Bakhtiarpur, Barh, Mokama, Hathidah, Mankatha, Lakhisarai, Kiul, Jamui and Jhajha, Kumar said.
Another special train (03297/03298) will run between Patna Junction and Gaya Junction from July 28 to August 26. It will leave Patna Junction at 10.30am and reach Gaya Junction at 1pm the same day. On its return journey, it will leave Gaya Junction at 2pm and reach Patna Junction at 4.20pm, said Kumar.
Besides, the Danapur-Sahebganj intercity express, which runs from Monday to Saturday, will run on Sunday as well from July 29 to August 26.

Another Jansadharan special train (05583/05584) will run daily between Saharsa and Bhagalpur from July 27 to August 26. It will leave Saharsa at 7.30am and reach Bhagalpur at 1.30pm the same day, Kumar said and added the load combination of the train would be of eight general coaches and two brake vans.
Yet another Jansadharan special train (05271/05272) will run every day between Muzaffarpur and Bhagalpur from July 27 to August 26. To run via Munger and Sultanganj, it will leave Muzaffarpur at 1.20pm to reach Bhagalpur at 7.30pm the same day. It will also have ten general coaches and two brake vans.
Meanwhile, Kumar said, the railways have approved a temporary stoppage of two minutes of the Darbhanga- Secunderabad special train (07007/07008) at Abhaipur station on a trial basis for three months from July 26.
