By now, Dodge Demon owners have had plenty of time to become familiar to their machines and make the most out of them at the drag strip. And if this is true for the Demon, the same thing can certainly be said about those wielding Hellcats.
And, as it happens, the two sometimes get together at the drag strip. The most recent example of the sort comes from the Texas Motorplex, where a Demon and a Challenger engaged in quarter-mile play.

Of course, we're talking about a modded incarnation of the Hellcat. And while we're not sure what mods were fitted to the blown 6.2-liter V8 of the thing, we can tell you that its output might just sit in four-digit territory - this conclusion comes from the 1/4-mile time of the Dodge, with the machine having delivered a high-9s run.

Oh, and let's not forget the fact that the Dodge uses beadlock wheels with drag-friendly rubber to put all the muscle to the track.

As for the Demon we have here, this comes in factory stock form (think: 840 hp), being wielder by YouTuber Demonology.

Now, this aficionado knows his way around the SRT halo car, but, this time around, he went a bit too far in terms of taking off, triggering the red light. Even so, the Elapsed Time and Trap Speed numbers at the end of the runs still stand, since these are recorded from the moment when the car starts moving.

Now, the adventure we have here might seem a bit familiar and you should know that it's not just because this particular Demon can be seen racing at the said Lone Star State facility.

You see, we showed you the same Demon using this drag strip yesterday, but the machine battled a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. And the drivers of the Hellcats happened to be brothers. You know, like the founders of the brand.

In case you missed the video documenting that battle, you should definitely check it out, since it also shows Demonology delivering some takeoff tuition.
