Supercharged Lamborghini Huracan Drag Races Dodge Demon, Humiliation Follows

If we take a look at the horsepower numbers of the two, we'll notice that the muscle car comes with 840 hp (when running on race juice), while the Italian exotic packs 610 hp. So, at first, it might seem like the Lambo doesn't stand a chance against the Mopar machine.

Switching the focus to the quarter mile times of the two, we notice that the Lambo is a mid-10s car, while the Dodge is a mid-9s car, at least in theory - while the all-wheel-drive of the Huracan allows it to achieve that status with ease, Demon owners still haven't been able to go below 9.9s in terms of the 1,320 feet sprint.

Nevertheless, the Huracan we have here has left its factory stock form behind. The machine comes with a supercharger kit provided by VF Engineering, which means that its 5.2-liter V10 now delivers at least 800 ponies. Oh, and there's another argument in favor of the mid-engined machine, as its dual-clutch tranny is quicker than the Dodge's torque converter unit, even with the latter's drag strip focus.
