Railways runs special train from Katihar to Anand Vihar station

PATNA: The railways started running a pair of special trains (04425/04426) between Anand Vihar (New Delhi) and Katihar from Sunday to cope with the rush of passengers.
The air-conditioned train, which will run for two days, left Anand Vihar at 3.30pm on Sunday, ECR chief public relations officer (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar said. The train will leave Katihar on August 21 and 22 at 11.50pm and reach Anand Vihar on August 22 and 23 around 4am.
The train will stop at Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Sultanpur, Varanasi, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction (Mughalsarai), Buxar, Patna and Barauni.
It will have the load combination of 14 coaches — 12 AC three-tier coaches and two brake vans.
The railways also ran an Eid-ul-Zuha special train (03131/03132) between Kolkata and Gorakhpur via Kiul, Barauni and Hajipur on Sunday. The train departed from Kolkata at 11.55pm on Sunday. On its return journey, the train will leave Gorakhpur at 7.05pm on Monday and reach Kolkata at 1.15pm the next day, the CPRO said.
The special train is running with the load combination of 19 coaches. The train has been given stoppages at Bardhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chitranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Kiul, Barauni, Sahpur Patori, Hajipur, Sonepur, Chhapra Gramin and Chhapra.
