Post Malone has been caught in emergency landing drama on board a private jet.

The Gulfstream IV jet reported blowing two tyres during takeoff on Tuesday (local time) while carrying the rapper and 15 of his entourage. He was flying to perform at the Leeds and Reading Festivals in the UK this weekend.

"A London-bound plane that left Teterboro Airport this morning with two blown tires is being diverted to New York Stewart International Airport in Orange County," CBS News reports.

"According to unconfirmed reports, rapper Post Malone and his entourage are on the plane. They were reportedly headed to London for a concert."

The jet landed safely in New York after five hours circling to burn fuel.

Post Malone is behind the album Beerbongs and Bentleys, which featured the hit single 'Rockstar'.
