HYDERABAD: Nizamabad BJP
Lok Sabha ticket aspirant Arvind Dharmapuri came under attack at a meeting at the Telangana Bhavan which was attended by TRS MP Kavitha Kalvakuntla in the city on Thursday. The occasion was the joining of several people, including social activist Kotapati Narasimha Naidu of Jagtial. Narasimha Naidu had been in the forefront demanding a
Turmeric Board for the state and was also working for migrants rights.
“The Turmeric Board has to be sanctioned by the BJP government at the Centre. Instead of getting that done, Arvind Dharmapuri is criticising the TRS government and the MP,”
Armoor MLA A Jeevan Reddy said. Dharmapuri is the son of TRS
Rajya Sabha MP D Srinivas. Recently, Nizamabad MLAs led by Kavitha had urged chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to initiate disciplinary action against D Srinivas for working against interests of the party and promoting his son’s election dreams. Arvind Dharmapuri should control his tongue. This is a warning to him,” Jeevan Reddy said.
At the meeting, Kavitha did not refer to that criticism. Instead she stuck to welcoming new leaders.
