Ganesh Chaturthi: Muslims offer food to Hindu devotees in Karnataka's Koppal

KOPPAL: In a unique gesture showcasing communal harmony, people of Muslim community offered meals (Anna Danam) to Lord Ganesha's devotees in Karnataka's Koppal on Sunday.
They offered food to the devotees on the occasion of the special day.
Vinayaka Mitra Mandali was celebrating the 39th year of Gajananotsav, even as they installed a huge Ganesha idol. The festival was celebrated for nine days.

Muslim community members also joined hands with the devotees on this occasion. They contributed for the 'Anna Danam' and themselves served food to the devotees.
Many religious programmes, mass marriage and free blood group test were also conducted.
