The Bulgaria Men’s National Volleyball Team lost 1:3 to Poland in its last match of the first group stage of the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship played in Varna. The team coached by Plamen Konstantinov did not show persistence during the game while the Polish team had a very solid performance and scored its fifth victory in five matches in the group. Bulgaria placed third in the ranking with three wins and two losses. In the next stage of the Volleyball Men’s World Championship Bulgaria will face the USA, Iran and Canada. The matches will be played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia.
