WALKER-Cass County Health, Human and Veterans Services will give flu shots to the people of all ages at locations throughout the county between now and Oct. 18.
Cost is $25. HHVS will bill an insurance provider directly for the cost for people who bring their Medicare or insurance cards to the clinic. Medicare Part B is required if this service is to be used for Medicare.
The agency cannot bill managed care HMOs like Unicare or Humana.
The cost will be reduced to $5 for uninsured or underinsured children utilizing Minnesota Vaccines for Children.
Flu vaccine is recommended for everyone age 6 months and older.
